Warehouse Associate - (Metairie, LA)

The Warehouse Associate performs receiving, stock keeping, picking, packing and shipping activities. The chosen applicant will also be responsible for counter sales, housekeeping and related quality assurance activities. Detailed Description - Expertise to adapt to changing situations and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously - Maintain appropriate forms pending return of material - Expertise to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions - Strong attention to detail - Assist with over-the-counter sales when necessary - Pull, pack, weigh and label materials for shipment (including assemble and hold orders) - Perform other duties as requiredJob Qualifications - Clean warehouse and trucking/parking area - Pull stock and return it to the correct location pending credit memo, sale or return to supplier - Basic technical skills - Expertise to move a min of 25lbs Background - Maintain counter stock as needed - Expertise to work in a team environment and to get along with coworkers
