Expert Scientist, Technical Research & Development, Antigen Expression - (Rockville, MD)

Minimum requirements: * MSc degree in virology, cell biology, DNA/RNA vector design or a related vaccinology discipline with at least 8 yrs of background in research and development, preferably including vaccine antigen development in an industrial, academic or government laboratory setting - Incorporates new technologies or techniques to refine the established antigen expression platforms. - In-depth understanding of different protein expression platforms, cell transfection/transduction and selection, background with transient and stable expression systems - Leads internal and external project and technology transfer activities - Executes and documents experiments/technical studies/tasks independently, maintaining good scientific practices - Supervises laboratory set-up activities - Ability to efficiently manage uncertainty, changes in priority and timeline restrictions
