JOB OVERVIEW: The job of the a Quality Assurance/Liaison Engineer is to perform quality assurance and/or manufacturing in aviation, automotive or similar highly regulated industries. PRIMARY REPSPONSIBILITES: -Develop and establish quality assurance processes. -Review and audit manufacturing processes to improve efficiencies and accountability. -Develop metrics to measure performance and analyze for areas of improvement. -QC manufactured deliverables. -Review engineering drawings and supporting documentation for manufacturability & inspection. -Interface between manufacturing shops and engineering. -Audit aircraft equipment. -Support aircraft weight & balance documentation. -Support engineering in developing new designs and repairs. -Support TRB and CCB meetings.
