Legal Writing Faculty-Law School - (Harrogate, TN)

Legal Writing Faculty-Law School Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) invites applications for the full-time position of Legal Writing Faculty, Duncan School of Law. The instructional faculty member shall have the key responsibilities of teaching legal writing and communication and performance of service functions and shall be held accountable for these obligations as they contribute to the attainment of the mission of the University, the School, and the Department. This position is a non-tenure track, term appointment as an Assistant Professor with year-round service and instruction obligations. Requirements; Required: Juris Doctor (or equivalent degree), licensed to practice law and evidence of potential for effective teaching and student mentoring. Preferred: Knowledge, skills and abilities: strong experience in performing and teaching of legal writing, great communication abilities, demonstrated knowledge and mastery of content and demonstrated knowledge of student advising.
