Tooling Engineer Job A prominent consumer appliance manufacturer is seeking a sharp Tooling Engineer. This role is located just outside of the St. Louis, Missouri area. The Tooling Engineer will have at least 2+ years of designing, detailing, developing, and implementing tooling design. The ideal candidate will have background with sheet metal stamping, weld fixtures, and manufacturing assembly design. The Tooling Engineer provides a salary commensurate with background, ranging from $55k - $70k, with comprehensive benefits, 401K, and paid relocation benefits if needed. Responsibilities for the Tooling Engineer Use creative designs and technology to solve manufacturing problems, improve safety, quality, and productivity, as well as reduce labor and material cost Coordinate tryout of tooling and fixtures with the manufacturing team Manage quotations of new tooling and tooling components Maintain die number log, list of tooling projects, quotes, and purchase requisitions
