Test Engineer - (Smithfield, PA)

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant. Background with RF, Antenna, Network or Spectrum. Expertise to obtain US Security Clearance. Background with simulation software (Labview preferred). The Test Engineer will be part of a project transferring the system to a new location. Daily responsibilities consist of creating tests to be completed on the shipboard based signals. Tests will then be executed by Technicians. Once tests are completed they will be tasked with solving errors that are uncovered. Position details: Supports the development and verification of test methods. Develops detailed test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan. Develops solutions to calibration systems problems of limited scope and impact. Designs test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements. Uses analytical tools to verify the design.
