Physical Therapy Assistant Job overview:Description: Summary\: The incumbent shall be responsible for providing, under the direction of a Physical therapist, therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's requirements, professional practices and ethical standards. The incumbent shall also demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem-solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion. Essential Duties\: Participates in continuing-ed/professional development activities. Communicates and demonstrates a professional image/attitude at all times. Adheres to all applicable policies/procedures and practice guidelines. Supports Student Program within the facility. Contributes to client relations and marketing activities. Maintains licenses/certifications and memberships in applicable professional organizations. Completes Self-Assessment upon request and develops professional goals.
