Accounting Manager - Operations - (Shelton, CT)

VISION: Center stage role reporting to Controller. Strategic Business Unit of a publicly traded parent has expanded manufacturing operations and 70% of revenues comes from international clients in Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Products are highly engineered capital equipment and made to contract. Company has a history of promoting from within and USA GM was former CFO so accounting is highly valued. OPPORTUNITY: Upside potential to Assistant Controller. Be a business resource and partner with sales, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, customers, and vendors. Key components of role will be as follows: • Operational Accounting: Report and analyze all costs related to building capital equipment. • Cost Estimating & Pricing: Partner with engineering, sales, and manufacturing on pricing and cost estimates….this will require working with purchasing on material and subcontract bids. • Financial Reporting: Support Controller and prepare monthly reporting (e.g. income statement, sales reporting, KPIs
