Director of Development Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Pittsburgh, PA and Morgantown, WV JOB DESCRIPTION The Director of Development is a leadership position with the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), based in Pittsburgh, PA, with a 2nd site and office located in Morgantown, WV. RMHC’s dedicated Executive Director, committed employees, and supportive Board of Directors support the position of Director of Development (DoD) to elevate the organization’s fundraising strategies and practices. The DoD will report to the Executive Director and will supervise a team of five professionals (4 located in Pittsburgh and one in Morgantown) in Special Events, Grant Writing, Graphic Design and Communications. Of the $2 million operating budget for the entire organization, the DoD will lead the effort for raising approx $1.5 million in philanthropic dollars (major giving, annual giving, grants and special events). The DoD is a key position in RMHC, reporting directly to the Executive Director.
