Maintenance Manager - (Shirley, NY)

We are looking for a high-level Maintenance Manager who can directly manage pharmaceutical mechanics and maintain manufacturing equipment. This is a career opportunity located in the Eastern Suffolk County region, and we are looking for someone with at least 5 yrs background. Working hours: 8am - 5pm Skills: Essential duties and Responsibilities: - Responsible for the proper performance of all production equipment and critical systems. - Administers an on-going preventative maintenance program. - Reviews and approves changes or additions to equipment. - Maintains and repairs production equipment and systems. - Assures all Plant/Production Systems meet applicable Safety Codes and GMP requirements. - Provides training to mechanics. Works with subordinates to further their personal skill and development. - Writes or updates Standard Operating Procedures (SOP'S) as required. - Ensures that logs are maintained for all equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
