Software Quality Test Analyst Job - (New London, CT)

We are currently engaged with a client who is seeking a Software Quality Test Analyst on a direct hire basis. In this role, the Software Quality Test Analyst will: Provide software test planning and execution for new systems, software programs, modifications and new releases Use QA best practices to work with application and business subject experts for testing and planning, UAT execution and results summary; Track testing and quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status Prepare proper test data as part of the test setup Check defects to verify that they have been fixed Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) The appropriate individual will have proven work experience in the following: Leading and coordinating software quality assurance efforts to include systems (web and C/S) / applications testing and defect tracking Documentation and planning skills with a firm understanding of QA best practices and QA; methodology which includes Production Control
