Jr Buyer - (Boston, MA)

A Buyer is responsible for assisting in the creation of the Governance, Policies/Procedures, Methodologies, and Tools required to support business stakeholders in driving visibility and continuous improvement in our supplier relationships. The successful applicant will be part of a small central team responsible for establishing processes to evaluate the quality of supplier performance across the company. Additionally, this position is responsible for contributing to the consolidation of all compliance and performance info into an aggregate format, and reporting to Senior Management. This role will partner as required with key business partners throughout the company, including Claims, Facilities, Finance, IT, HR, and Legal. This role will be responsible for supporting the Supplier Diversity program, including efforts and programs to increase opportunities for diverse suppliers to partner with Liberty Mutual. There is a potential for permanent employer for the right contractor.
