Painter FT 40hrs DescriptionUnder the general supervision of the Lead Maintenance Tech and according to established policies and procedures, performs a variety of routine to skilled general and preventive maintenance duties in the repairs, alteration and modification of the building. Prepares surfaces, applies finishes including wallpaper, hang sheetrock, tape and float, textures surfaces, makes repairs to millwork and laminates, furniture, installs and repairs flooring tiles and carpet. Subject to working odd shifts to accomplished assigned duties. Other related duties as required.RequirementsThree years in the painting trade, or completion of trade or technical school courses.EDUCATION:High-school Graduate or equivalent.CERTIFICATION/LICENSES:A valid New Mexico driver's licenseSKILLS:Skilled in all types and the application of paints, stains and other surface coverings. Able to install drywall, tape and float, texture and finish including applying wall paper and vinyl.
