Position description:Sr Manager - Industrial Engineering Be a part of the dynamic Industrial Engineering team within our one million sq ft union center facility. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for planning, development and execution of all engineering to support five high volume and mechanized distribution centers. The manager is responsible for the direction and management of a corporate engineering staff tasked with the development and implementation of all engineering and company driven initiatives including: engineered labor standard development and documentation, network and facility design, process improvement and innovation and other strategic initiatives. A Day in the Life * Assist staff and the customer on warehouse facilities projects * Determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow * Establish methods for max utilization of warehouse facilities and personnel * Conduct studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction
