Door Person (Seasonal) - (Atlantic City, NJ)

Assists guests by opening and closing car doors carefully and welcoming them in a friendly manner. Responsible for custody of guest luggage by properly tagging and presenting claim check to guest. Transports luggage to Bell Captain via the luggage room. Directs delivery men to service entrance and makes every effort to keep undesirable people from entering the hotel by notification of Supervisor and/or Security. Ensures that a smooth flow of traffic in front of Hotel is maintained and "no parking" areas are kept clear. Maintains good grooming at all times by being properly uniformed and refraining from personal conversation at front entrance with other employees. Responsible for accurate and careful loading and unloading of tour and junket luggage ensuring that all baggage is properly tagged. Position is located in a cigarette smoke environment. Open. Requires poise and a pleasant personality. 1 Yr previous background as a Bell Person or Door Person preferred.
