Benefits Specialist - (Clearwater, FL)

Position Concept: * The Benefits Specialist is responsible for administering the day to day operations of the Eckerd Kids comprehensive group benefit plans. The Benefits Specialist is also responsible for helping to coordinate the flow of benefits details to all Eckerd Kids locations, and handle benefit issues for employees. The Benefits Specialist woks closely with the Benefits Manager. Critical functions: * Interface with employees regarding benefits issues. Resolve issues directly or through coordination and follow-up with external benefit providers. * Assist with the planning and administration of the annual benefit open enrollment. * Assist with vendor premium payments, invoice reconciliation and plan audits. * Assist with the development of policies and procedures to streamline processes and increase efficiency. * Coordinate with all facilities to distribute booklets and packets when needed. * Assist with retirement package inquiries and plan administration. * Ensure Section 125 and HIPAA compliance.
