Pierce County Emergency Sanctuary Program Coordinator - (Tacoma, WA)

Amara's Pierce County Emergency Sanctuary, located in Tacoma, WA, is seeking a program coordinator. Join our team of professionals serving vulnerable children in our community. We are seeking a flexible, reliable, experienced employee willing to work a non-traditional schedule as well as weekend on-call hours (likely schedule will include days off mid-week and on-call and work responsibilities on weekends). The Amara Emergency Sanctuary can serve up to five children at a time, for up to 72 hours per child, in a home-like environment. These children, ages 0-12, have just been removed from their homes by Child Protective Services. They enter our care at a critical time and in a highly vulnerable state. Principal Duties & Responsibilities The Emergency Sanctuary program coordinator reports to the Emergency Sanctuary Manager. All work responsibilities will be under the guidance and supervision of the Emergency Sanctuary Manager. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
