Visitor Services Associate - (San Francisco, CA)
Position Purpose The Visitor Services Associate (VSA) is 1 of a staff team who provide welcoming and informative 1st contact with all visitors including walk-up guests, tour groups, school groups, annual members, program audience members, and VIP's. It is The CJM's goal to ensure a best in class background to each visitor immediately upon arrival to The Museum and throughout their stay. The ideal candidate for this position will be a dependable individual with strong interpersonal and communications skills. Hours will be scheduled in advance primarily between 10:30am and 5:00pm on Thursdays through Tuesdays. Hours are not expected to exceed twenty per week. Weekend shifts and some evenings and holidays will be required. Required responsibilities Handle visitor access and hospitality at the reception desk and coatroom; administer lost and found, receive and relay visitor feedback; and provide visitor orientation to The Museum and surrounding locations.
