Assembler - Matching - (Torrington, CT)

Matching Assembler. $11.00 an hour and is temp to perm. This position is responsible for properly performing the match operation required for proper assembly. The majority of product involves hand assembly but must be able to operate other various assembly equipment in the department. Must be able to obtain certain details from a blueprint. This employee must frequently use various measuring devices to accurately maintain proper sizes and tolerances. Most work is repetitive in nature and follows routine, prescribed methods but some skill and judgment is involved in selecting correct sizes. This individual is also responsible for the movement of material, product or components to and/or from other production areas.
