Sr/Lead Chemist - 16-10001157 Job - (Newark, DE)

This job design includes descriptions for the roles of Senior Chemist, and Lead Chemist. Each section builds on the previous one, with Lead Chemists being required to meet the qualifications of the previous section(s). Description: SR Chemist: Participates in investigations for PET process areas, related to QC processes or data. Trains QC employees. Troubleshoots methods and processes. Performs testing of samples. Maintains and troubleshoots testing equipment. Lead Chemist: May serve as the primary link between QC team and QA Facilitator, for day-to-day activities, such as schedules and workload planning. Coordinates workflow in QC team. Verifies QC data, while monitoring for trends and abnormalities. Performs project work, and leads laboratory investigations. Develops methods and processes. Major Responsibilities: SR Chemist: * Performs project work, and participates in investigations. * Trains QC employees in GMP, SHE, QC methods and processes. * Troubleshoots methods and processes.
