Quality Engineer, Electronic Materials - (Paris, KY)

SUMMARY OF POSITION : The Quality Engineer, Electronic Materials (EM) is responsible for understanding the raw material manufacturing process and process capabilities for the EM business. Working in conjunction with R&T, Procurement, Quality and Manufacturing, the Quality Engineer, EM will lead investigations, issue solving, PCS and white paper development and submittal. The Quality Engineer, EM will also drive continuous improvements, process control and management of change to ensure and enhance overall quality, and to engage the supplier to resolve raw materials manufacturing process issues that impact performance of products in our customers applications. REQUIRED FUNCTIONS : Interacts with suppliers to ensure all quality qualifications and raw material specifications are met. Performs supplier audits and evaluations of supplier quality systems in conjunction with Procurement.
