RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client that is searching for a Field Engineer in Peoria, IL. Critical functions: Read and interpret plans, prints, drawings or job write-ups and compare to what has been designed or built Check for and identify any discrepancies, errors, problems or potential problems or questions using appropriate, company approved guidelines Field telephone calls from customers and determine need and/or problem by interpreting their questions and asking for pertinent details; advise customer on troubleshooting procedures and attempt to solve their problem over the phone Travel to job sites as directed and assist in start-up and/or field test of product for customer or provide trouble-shooting services to solve errors, problems or potential problems of product while on site; using company guidelines, adapt usual testing methods for on-site applications Effectively communicate appropriate details to customer and answer questions as needed Prepare
