Director of Product Development - (Pico Rivera, CA)

Director of Product Development-Gift Division · Oversee divisions strategic direction for proprietary and licensed product lines for the five calendar lines. · Research and design SKUs annually · Direct all product development functions: creative, visual merchandising, product management, sampling, pre-production, QC and QA · Ensure all designs are within cost parameters and meet quality, design and branding expectations · Conduct department market research, identify and interpret current and emerging trends, and the product application · Lead internal and external sales and retail presentations · Develop divisions line plans, line lists and milestones · Extensive overseas travel to HQ office for product development purposes and factories in China and Indonesia to ensure quality and on time delivery · Manage a staff of six with additional interns
