Safety/Training Manager - Plants 84, WE and Yarn Distribution Warehouses - (Chatsworth, GA)

Position description: Work with EHS Manager to develop, manage and provide oversight for all environmental, safety and training programs at Plants 84, WE & Yarn Distribution Warehouse's. Ensure that the facilities complies with all federal, state and local environmental and safety regulations, Shaw policies, procedures and best practices. Responsibilities: Develop and implement all plant specific Environmental Health & Safety elements that relate to the Shaw Management System (SMS) within the facilities. Lead system audits to monitor conformance to qualifications and to drive continuous improvement. Develop, manage and take ownership of all SAFE system and safety compliance related elements (OSHA) that are applicable to the facilities. Create safety programs for the facilities that are consistent with corporate programs and systems. Champion associate engagement in safety and training. Develop a process whereby associate ownership of safety is evident.
