Maintenance Mechanic C (Military Veterans Wanted!) - (Olean, NY)

Description About the Position: The position responsibilities will include installation and maintenance of the most complicated electrical/mechanical equipment in substation facilities. You will be expected to respond to call-outs, emergencies and adverse weather conditions. Requirements Job Requirements: Must have Journeyman Level experience. A min of 3 years experience with diverse types of energized and de-energized substation equipment, rubber gloving, climbing and electrical operating procedure skills. Must possess knowledge of electrical/mechanical blueprint reading and control board wiring within substations. Must have a High-school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid valid drivers license (or ability to obtain within 30 days). Have ability to work with and direct a small group of mechanics, good safe work ethic, excellent communication abilities and commitment to customer service. The successful applicant will be expected to reside within 35 mis of Batavia,NY.
