Build and install new custom manufactured truck bodies 1st Shift M-F 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM, some overtime. POSITION DETAILS: The Body Install Technician is responsible for assembly and installation of custom hitches, frame extensions, truck body components and aerial equipment on truck chassis - welding background requiered POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Install body assemblies from blueprints, samples, or verbal instructions. Work with different materials: steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc Good mechanical aptitude Expertise to use basic hand & measuring tools: employee expected to supply tools Equipment knowledge: saws, ironworkers, drills, cutting torches and welders Expertise to safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes The expertise to read and interpret drawing
