Job Developer-Job Placement Specialist - (Phoenix, AZ)

Position overview Provides individualized job development and placement for persons with disabilities in accordance with VALLEYLIFE’s Policy and Procedures. Position qualifications 1. Works closely with client and referring agency personnel. Attends all relevant staffings and meetings. 2. Identifies and develops community job sites for assigned clients using the service plan goals outlined by the referring agency. 3. Initiates contact with potential employers and explains VALLEYLIFE services as they pertain to job placement. 4. Assists with training of clients for interview process, job seeking skills. 5. Assists in training clients in the use of appropriate transportation. 6. Works closely with client, employer, and job coach as needed for orientation to new job sites. 7. Participates in VALLEYLIFE fund-raising activities. 8. Provides employment counseling to clients as required. 9. Maintains and submits accurate records as required. 10.
