The Purchasing Buyer will maintain inventory, place requisitions and purchase orders for all industrial supply stocked items and company store items. Process all purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders for expensed items and outside purchases. Coordinate purchasing productivity actions with other departments. Verify all invoices and paperwork have been properly matched and processed and submitted to Accounting Department. Assist Accounts Payable with open invoices. Process monthly consignments for manufacturing supplies. Determine taxability on all Purchase Orders. Purchasing background strongly preferred.
