Production Supervisor - (Hebron, OH)

Area of Accountability:Oversee and manage plant operations in the areas of leadership and supervision of hourly employees and production, manufacturing, and distribution of products. Identify problems and develop plans to continuously improve uses/processes of material, machines, and employee resources. Ensure and promote safety, success, teamwork, and quality in the working atmosphere. Major Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Operations Manager, assists with the following production supervisor responsibilities: Provides supervision to hourly employees on assigned shift. Track attendance, schedule vacations, ensures compliance to the employee handbook, etc--- Conduct daily shift meetings to keep employees aware of production levels, delivery performance, quality, overtime, upcoming events, etc---) Supervise daily staffing and output levels to meet or exceed planned productivity levels. Motivate, provide clear direction and set expectations for new and existing hourly and temporary personnel.
