Nursing Supervisor / Nursing Admin. / 40 hrs per week / Day-Evening Shift - (Scranton, PA)

Provides oversight for multiple hospital departments in the absence of unit management. Addresses patient care, staffing, and any other issues that may arise. Supervises nurses and staff and takes administrative responsibilities. Relies on extensive background and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing, certification as a registered nurse (RN), and 3-5yrs of background in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Must be able to work a mix of twelve hr and eight hr shifts. two shifts of 11a-11:30p and two shifts of 3p-11:30p
