Studio Technician - (Tampa, FL)

Studio Technician (Part Time) Department: Production Reply/Resume to: Charlie Paul/Human Resources WFTS-TV in Tampa, FL has an immediate need for a part time Studio Technician. The successful applicant: 1. Acts as Floor director for LIVE newscasts and any studio recording sessions. 2. Operates teleprompter system. 3. Handles duties in feed room including LIVE shots and news feeds. 4. Able to work early morning shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays. 5. Perform other duties as required by workload and supervisor. Qualifications : 1. Education : High-school / technical school degree required. 2. Background: 1-two years previous background in working newsroom and studios. Any other tv studio background including but not limited to audio, graphics, technical directing etc. is a plus. 3. Skills/Abilities: Must be able to handle multiple priorities under extreme time constraints. WFTS-TV is an equal opportunity employer
