Nissan's Decherd, TN manufacturing plant is located approx 85 mis southeast of Nashville, TN and 65mis west of Chattanooga, TN along Interstate 24. The Powertrain Assembly plant is 1.1 million square feet and has an annual production capacity over one million engines. Nissan-Decherd's engine assembly plant produces engines for the Nissan Altima, Maxima, Rogue, Frontier, Titan, Armada, Quest, Pathfinder, as well as several Infiniti vehicles. In addition to engine assembly, Nissan -Decherd also assembles the electric motor for the LEAF, Nissan's 100% electric vehicle. Other production at Nissan-Decherd include: Cylinder Block Machining, Cylinder Head Machining, Crankshaft Machining, Crankshaft Forging, and Cylinder Block Hi-pressure Die Casting.
