Pioneering Nonprofit Digital News Organization Seeks Talented Business and - (San Diego, CA)

Voice of San Diego, an award-winning nonprofit digital news organization in San Diego, is looking for a Business and Operations Manager to lead the financial management of the organization as well oversee the human resource systems and general business operations. This self-starter will work with the CEO to chart the course for the organization's annual business goals and objectives and create systems to monitor results. Finance: Create and manage VOSD's annual budget in collaboration with Board, CEO and CFO and continuously review and share revenue, cash and expense results and projections with the CEO. Manage Quickbooks and Salesforce accounting records; including assuring accuracy of data input of donations with assistance from CFO and Salesforce consultant. Pay all bills and invoices approved by CEO. Prepare monthly financial statement. Human Resources: Oversee new employee on-boarding (issuing keys, parking pass, computer setup, ordering business cards, orientation tour, new-hire forms)
