Stewardship Coordinator - (Bainbridge Island, WA)
Job overview The Stewardship Coordinator is a key member of our team responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of the Bainbridge Island Land Trust's conservation easements and owned properties, currently totaling 54 properties. These conservation properties include 41 easements on privately owned property, six easements on public access areas, and seven BILT-owned lands constituting over 800 total acres. The Stewardship Coordinator is the 1st point of contact with landowners, neighbors, and community partners on a variety of issues related to our conserved lands. In addition to carrying out monitoring work and providing technical ability, the Stewardship Coordinator recruits, trains, and works with a team of volunteers who assist in the monitoring and maintenance of BILT's lands. The Coordinator works closely with the Bainbridge Island Land Trust's Conservation Director and the Stewardship Committee to manage BILT's conservation lands and prioritize restoration or land management issues.
