Microbiologist-intern Rochester - (Rochester, NY)

Today, we are proud to offer an excellent contract opportunity for a a Microbiology intern with our client, a leader in the medical device industry, located in Rochester, New York. The position will start in April as part-time twenty hours a week and progress to 40 hours a week in May. The assignment will wrap up late summer. Microbiology intern will Assist with performing stability testing, which includes ISO/FDA/USP PE and disinfection efficacy testing to support, marketed products as per test schedules, SOPs and regulations. This includes but is not limited to organism harvesting and preparation, media and solution preparation, growth promotion, sample log in. Other responsibilities may include assisting with performing efficacy testing and documentation in LIMS systems. Media prep and aseptic technique. Qualifications: HS diploma and min 1yr of college with study in biology field.
