The Security Officer will police private property to prevent theft or damages to property; and to maintain order. Includes investigating irregularities concerning unlawful intrusion. Guards, patrols, and monitors premises to prevent violence or infractions of rules. Position overview: Duties and Responsibilities *Guards entrance gate to control traffic to and from buildings and grounds and checks credentials or approved roster before admitting anyone *Directs visitors to various parts of grounds or buildings Inspects outgoing traffic to prevent unauthorized removal of company property or products *Patrol commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
