Service Writer - South Holland, IL - (South Holland, IL)

The Service Writer is the main liaison between the C.R. England Drivers, Lease Operators and Independent Contractors and the shop. This individual will have the expertise to talk professionally with the driver, diagnose the equipment, and make appropriate repair decisions. The Service Writer will estimate the repair times in order to provide reliable details to the Driver and the line of business regarding the availability of the equipment and create accurate electronic work orders for the shop. The Service Writer also provides support in other areas such as sublet, parts, and direct equipment repair. Responsibilities: Support the Drivers in the highest professional manner so as to enhance the Drivers background and be the liaison between the shop and the driver. Consistently executes the 8 tenants of Service Writing. Physically inspect the equipment Create accurate repair time estimate for each repair order.
