Buyer Position description The successful applicant will possess the following skills: strong attention to detail, expertise to multi-task, expertise to work efficiently in cross-functional teams, and excellent interpersonal communication. The buyer is responsible for selecting suppliers, negotiating prices and payment terms, and making purchase commitments for the assigned services and/or materials. The buyer supports all production manufacturing activities, utilizing the MRP system. They also purchase all materials, products, and services for the company. This individual generates and places purchase orders with suppliers and vendors. This position coordinates the purchase of raw materials to meet production plans and/or project timelines.
