Purchasing Lead - (Phoenixville, PA)

Our client is currently seeking a Purchasing Lead Job overview: The Purchasing Lead is responsible for supporting the Supply Chain Department through all aspects of purchasing materials and inventory including, but not limited to, planning, negotiating, and placing purchase orders and working with vendors both domestically and internationally. Main responsibilities: • Lead and provide day-to-day management to a dedicated Purchasing Team to deliver timely, quality and value added purchasing services and advice to the department • Manage and improve operational practices and procedures • Ensures that policies for Purchasing practices are met and adhered to. • Support the Supply Chain Manager in the day-to-day management of the Supply Unit by promoting and facilitating a collaborative and integrated approach to the delivery of an end to end supply, procurement and purchasing service • Support division S&OP process • Create and actively manage all vendor relationships
