Customer Quality Engineer - (Indianapolis, IN)

The Customer Quality Engineer position has been created at Bastian Automation Engineering (BAE) to provide support to customers and insure quality products that not only stay on budget, but also meet and exceed the customer's expectations. This position includes the expertise to work professionally with customers on the phone and walk them through troubleshooting of the issues to get them back up and running, review equipment and components on the BAE floor, and review and develop processes at BAE to help streamline and support the employees and the products we create. In addition to these duties this position is also responsible for troubleshooting machines that are in the field, selling and supporting service and support contracts, and supporting spare parts orders. The Customer Quality Engineer works very closely with the sales, engineering, project management and manufacturing teams to help everyone accomplish the goals set forth for each particular project.
