Mechanical Maintenance Technician - (Roanoke, VA)

Job summary Completes building and mechanical maintenance duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager. As part of the facilities maintenance team, supports all aspects of building structure and utilities maintenance and production support. Responsibilities: ? Primary assignments include, but not limited to, mechanical repairs and performing mechanical preventative maintenance and inspection of facilities related equipment such as HVAC, cranes, conveyors, roof top exhaust units, dock doors, production machines and equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturers specifications ? Troubleshoot, maintain and repair production machinery, forklifts and associated equipment used in manufacturing ? Troubleshoot electrical problems ? Responsible for building maintenance ? Leads and/or manages special projects as necessary ? Assist contractors with specific projects ? Work as part of a team ? Regular, on-time attendance
