Grounding Technician - Alpena Cement Plant Job - (Alpena, MI)

This position reports directly to the Electrical Supervisor. All duties are performed in a work-safe manner; plant safety rules are followed and individual works as a team player. The primary objective of this position is to perform basic department functions to ensure all electrical grounding processes are working correctly. Duties and Responsibilities Perform annual ground resistance testing Perform basic Preventative Maintenance on HVAC equipment Perform basic Preventative Maintenance on Compressed Air Drying Equipment Perform motor lubrication Dimensions Responsible for safe completion of duties and responsibilities Become electrically qualified per Alpena Plant Electrical Safe Work Practices by working under the direct supervision of a Plant Qualified Electrician for 500 hours No progression is included with the position Requirements Must have an Associates degree in the electrical or electronics field or the equivalent technical training or military training Expertise to work unaided Mathematical
