Grounding Technician - Alpena Cement Plant - (Alpena, MI)

This position reports directly to the Electrical Supervisor. All duties are performed in a work-safe manner; plant safety rules are followed and individual works as a team player. The primary objective of this position is to perform basic department functions to ensure all electrical grounding processes are working correctly. Duties and Responsibilities * Perform annual ground resistance testing * Perform basic Preventative Maintenance on HVAC equipment * Perform basic Preventative Maintenance on Compressed Air Drying Equipment * Perform motor lubrication Dimensions * Responsible for safe completion of duties and responsibilities * Become electrically qualified per Alpena Plant Electrical Safe Work Practices by working under the direct supervision of a Plant Qualified Electrician for 500 hours * No progression is included with the position Requirements * Must have an Associates degree in the electrical or electronics field or the equivalent technical training or military training * Expertise to work
