Court Liaison - (Tampa, FL)

Position Concept: This position is responsible for identifying and assessing the needs of families whose children have been removed by the circuit's CPID and the CPID has petitioned the court to shelter the children due to allegations of abuse and neglect. This position will also be responsible to ensure that there is a dialogue between placement and CPID regarding relative and non-relative placement for the removed children. The Court Liaison will attend all shelter hearings, contact caregivers, perform needs assessments and ensure that referrals are completed for appropriate community resources and services that will address child safety and family stabilization concerns alleged by the shelter petition. The Court Liaison will address the court, if requested by the court, regarding reasonable efforts, relative placements, and appropriate community resources for the family.
