Software Engineers - Linux - 2 - (Utica, NY)

Major established, global and nationally leading company in what they manufacture has an opportunity at their site in upstate NY for a Software Engineers in their advanced engineering group with responsibility for the team effort contribution in software exclusive and multidisciplinary projects. Responsibilities may also be for improvements on existing products. The work will involve embedded software engineering on various operating systems and various targets. These assignments will be complex in nature and require ingenuity and original thinking. C++ code will be written, debugged and modified. Application of C++ in embedded Linux environment ( Yocto ) will be utilized. This opportunity is due to growth and the company has a low turnover.
