Project Assistant/Help Desk Support - (Frederick, MD)
Serve as liaison between software DMLSS programmers and end users to gather and define software business rules and functional qualifications. Writes detailed business rules and functional qualifications according to standard templates, using simple and concise language, document projects, and participate in design reviews. Provide Tier III DMLSS-FM Help Desk support (Tier III address the most complex issues) to the AF military, civilian and contractor personnel using the DMLSS-FM system. Specific tasks include but are not limited to the following: • Manage and staff a DMLSS-FM Help Desk program for AF MTFs. • Enter Help Desk tickets to document problems reported and close help desk tickets when complete. • Follow-up on status of Help Desk tickets via telephone and/or e-mail to resolve open tickets. • Remotely access MTF DMLSS servers to gather details to assist with resolving Help Desk tickets.
