Summary: The Logistics Specialist is responsible for maintaining an accurate and organized receiving process of material at the construction site. The Logistics Specialist also maintains records of all site inventory, the receiving and consumption of the material, ensures that inventory system and actual site inventory match up, keeps all stock organized and notifies involved parties for replenishment needs Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Track inventory levels on construction sites to forecast material qualifications Frequent supplier communications to assure on time deliveries, close communication with the construction sites of on time or delayed delivery dates Supervision and training of Site Logistics Personnel Assign tasks to Site Receiving and Materials Personnel as needed Coordinates the correct set up of material trailers and laydown yards Keep the yards maintained and clean Resolve material shortages
