Clinical Lab Scientist, Lab - (Jasper, TX)

Description Responsible for assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by performing various clinical laboratory procedures. The Clinical Lab Scientist correlates and integrates other patient data and interprets test results; performs maintenance procedures on equipment; performs and interprets quality control/assurance procedures to ensure and evaluate the validity of patient results. This job mandates the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of CHRISTUS Health, and demonstrating behavior consistent with the Core Values. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and training in a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences accredited program required Medical Technologist who must be registered with ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologists) or Board equivalent.
