Security Officer DescriptionProvides security and a peaceful environment for all patients, visitors, and employees throughout the building and grounds of the hospital. Enforces hospital rules and regulations, investigates policy and law violations on the property and makes arrests when appropriate. Gives Appropriate assistance to all when needed or requested. Ensures that all paperwork is properly completed during shift. Reads any pass-on info left by the previous shift making sure that any task is carried out until complete. Responds to alarms/codes and emergency conditions taking appropriate corrective action. Perform patrol of premises to prevent crime and safety hazards. Conducts preliminary investigations of reported incidents and prepares detailed reports.
