Mechanical Drafter - Drafting Design Summary Prepare clear, complete and accurate drawings from rough or detailed prints and/or specifications in order to submit for customer approval or for fabrication of product by performing the following duties. Essential Duties Support Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Estimating and Production departments by providing preliminary and final drawings, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of 1 part to another and relation of various parts to whole structure or project. Utilize knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials and other physical sciences to complete drawings and manufacturing plans. Make any adjustments or changes necessary or desired. Uses computer assisted drafting technologies such as AutoCAD and/or Solidworks software and equipment. Expertise to read construction documents such as architectural, structural and mechanical drawings and specs.
